If you want to follow along with the class demos and homework labs, you can set up your own database server with these instructions.
Or, if you'd rather have me do it for you, you can buy this product and I'll have a cloud VM set up for you with SQL Server, the Stack Overflow database, SSMS, SQLQueryStress, and the labs ready to go. The night before the class, you'll get an email with your VM's IP address, login, and password so that you can remote desktop into it to run the labs. The lab VM will be shut down at the end of the class.
After you purchase the product, email me at Help@BrentOzar.com with the dates of the 4 classes you want to attend for Fundamentals Week, Mastering Index Tuning, Mastering Query Tuning, and Mastering Server Tuning.
I need at least 2 days of notice before the classes so I can have your VMs ready.
You don't have to do all 4 classes in the same rotation - for example, perhaps you want to do Fundamentals Week and Mastering Index Tuning in the summer rotation, hold off for a couple months, and then do Mastering Query Tuning and Mastering Server Tuning in the fall rotation. You can mix & match up to 4 class weeks in any rotation, but you only get 4 class weeks included.
If you miss a class, there are no refunds - I have to set these VMs up ahead of time, and I get charged for them, so only activate the VMs for the specific classes you plan to attend.
