If your organization was charged tax but should have been exempt, submit a refund request to [email protected].

The refund request should include a copy of the purchase receipt showing the sales tax paid, as well as a copy of your tax exemption certificate. Teachable will issue a refund once the documentation has been reviewed and approved. Usually the process takes about 7 business days.

Unfortunately, we don't have a way of preventing sales tax from being charged if their automated systems believe you're taxable. I really do wish there was a universal way of doing that, globally.
